Role Overview

Identity Automation, is growing and has openings for full-time Identity Engineers. Identity Engineer’s contribute to the company’s continued success by implementing identity management solutions for our customers. Identity Engineers are trusted advisers contributing to the building of solutions and demonstrating by championing the customer’s needs throughout an engagement. The Identity Engineer’s chief role is to implement solutions and provide up-sell and cross-sell information to the sales team.

Responsibilities

  • Work closely with customers to define requirements, design architecture, develop business rules, implement solution and perform knowledge transfer training
  • Participate in sales calls
  • Provide input for sales proposals
  • Research problems using online and printed resources
  • Produce weekly time and status reports
  • Follow administrative tasks to completeness

Skills

  • MUST have deep Linux/UNIX and application development knowledge
  • Understanding of business process mapping, data flow diagrams, flowcharts and other analyst tools
  • Attention to detail, excellent organizational skills, superior time management skills and ability to work with minimal supervision
  • Good oral and written communication skills
  • BONUS
    • Active involvement in the open source and free software communities
    • Knowledge of any of the following languages C/C++/Visual C, XML, J2EE, HTML, .NET(VB or C#), PHP, Perl, Java, Python, etc
    • Knowledge of Microsoft Windows and/or Novell NetWare

Experience

  • At least 5 years of practical hands-on technical experience
  • One or more identity provisioning technologies
  • One or more SSO technologies
  • One or more password management technologies
  • One or more Directory Services (eDirectory, Active Directory, etc.)
  • One or more Linux and/or UNIX Operating Systems
  • BASH shell scripting
  • Web development (DHTML, javascript, CSS, etc.)
  • Familiarity with database servers
  • Familiarity with virtualization technology (VMWare, Xen, etc.)
