The Data Synchronization System (DSS) is an application with a built-in tool-set that can move, transform and validate data between otherwise disparate systems. This system can be used to build identity management, EAI (Enterprise Application Integration) and ETL (Extract, Transform, Load) solutions.

The Command Line Interface (CLI) Adapter allows commands to be executed at the shell level thus making it possible to fully administer systems such as Linux, Microsoft Windows, Microsoft Exchange and Microsoft Active Directory.  Any system that allows configuration and management tasks to be executed from a command line are good candidates for automation via DSS.
